Season 22/23 - Kubani’s Korner -”Napoli Make Football Look Easy”; Qualified For Round Of 16

Marco "Kubani" D'Onofrio flies solo this week to wrap up another tremendous European night at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona as our partenopei beat Ajax 4-2 and CRUISE to the knockout stages of the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League.  Goals by "El Chooky" Lozano, Jack Raspadori, a Kvaradona penalty and a returning Victor Osimhen sealed the deal for Napoli sending the crowd into a frenzy.  One more point will win Group A, but Luciano Spalletti's squad can breathe and focus on the Serie A table as they try to mount a bigger league lead before the World Cup break.

Season 22/23 - The Napoli Rant - Episode 15 - Victorless Victories || Serie A Matchday 9: Cremonese-Napoli 1-4 || Beast of the Quarter

Raff N Raff are back this week to cover Napoli's matchday 9 win over Cremonese 4-1 at the Stadio Giovanni Zini, the very first Serie A win for the partenopei in Cremona. 

The Bizz has questions about Luciano Spalletti's light rotation maybe being too light as we lose Amir Rrahmani to injury until possibly after the World Cup break.

We hand out not only a Beast of the Match, but we introduce a new feature on the Rant called Beast of the Quarter, as we hit the quarter mark in the Serie A Season.

Raffa still has questions for some doubters and pessimists.

And the Raff's ponder what could happen now that Victor Osimhen is back from injury and in the squad for Ajax in Naples on Wednesday and how that may have either a negative or positive affect on our play!

What better way to kick off a new show than to have the boys chat up on the absolute DOMINATION of Amsterdam as Napoli invaded the Johann Cruyff and came away 6-1 winners. Yes...SIX...after going down 1-0 to the home side Ajax, Napoli manage to completely overwhelm the Dutch Champions and stay perfect through the first 3 Champions League group stage matches!

After 7 matches in Serie A, Napoli remain top of the table in Serie A after handing defending Scudetto holders Milan their first defeat of the season and first in the last 22 league matches.  It's been 42 years since Napoli can say they've beaten the rossoneri at the San Siro in 3 consecutive seasons, and a 2-1 win this past weekend sealed that.  Cholito Simeone comes off the bench to net the winning header into the bottom left.  Are the partenopei defying the odds set in the beginning of the season? Raffa & The Bizz are back to RANT AND RAVE about this excitement! We also give the Matchday 7 BEAST OF THE MATCH #BOTM!

Season 22/23 - From N To I - Episode 5: When Is Napoli’s Birthday?

Kirsten and Henry (well mostly Kirsten) take us right the way back to the introduction of football to Naples. They ask some difficult questions about the links between Mussolini and the ‘official’ birthday of 1st August 1926 and call for more research to be done into the earlier origins of the club in the late nineteenth century. Perhaps an anniversary with less links to fascism could be chosen to celebrate the anniversary?
