20/21 Season - Episode 6 - A New Era: Introducing "The RaNt"!

Hey tifosi! Hope you had a happy holidays and a happy new year.  A new year brings new beginnings and for us, we announce a new project by Raffa and the newest member of Far From Vesuvius, Ralph Bizzarro.  Together, they have created what is currently called "The Raff N Raff Rant' (will be shortened to "The RaNt"), the hottest new innovative and INTERACTIVE live Napoli show on YouTube, Facebook Live and Twitter via Periscope.  Fans can message us live and very soon, will be able to call in and chat with the boys!  With so much going on within the FFV family, we've decided to bring the action to the podcast waves for those who can't watch live.  Once a week, we discuss and literally rant on the hottest and latest topics in and around Fuorigrotta, but thats not all, as we will provide an additional post-match report after every match ensuring content more than once a week! Maradona Era Chronicle: Episode 5 (1988/89 season - Part 1)

FFV will be going over our glory era with a new series of podcasts called "The Maradona Era Chronicle". We will be reviewing each season of Maradona's time at Napoli from his signing from Barcelona in 1984, until his departure in 1991.

 

During the time between our last episode and this one, we lost Diego Armando Maradona to a heart attack at age 60.  His death was sudden and our hearts were broken. Before Maradona's passing, we began plans to resume the series and we decided 88/89 was so big, we had to record it in two parts. Little did we know, this would turn into a eulogy for the greatest of all time, the God of football himself.   

 

Here, we review our first and only Eurpoean trophy.  It was the culmination of all the hard work and passion Diego put in to this club, Napoli. What better way to honor him than for Frank @franksidekick and Raffa @RaffaNapoli83 to include in this episode their thoughts on what he meant to them.  We hope you enjoy this extra special edition of the Maradona Era Chronicles!

Raffa brings us a new series of podcasts called NazioNapoli, which aims to follow our Napoli boys on their national team journeys.  We take a deep look at all the proud moments , appearances, goals, assists, saves, and even the ugly side of the international break like bad performances and injuries.  Where ever our partenopei go, from Insigne with Italy and "Chooky" at Mexico, to Rrahmani in Kosovo... there we are!

For the inaugural episode, Raffa sits down with Calcio Napoli Club USA Facebook group founder, Ralph Bizzarro, for his first appearance with us here at FFV! We chat Euro 2020(21) qualifying, Nations League, AFCON qualiying, CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying and, of course, the meaningless friendlies that have no business taking place during Covid-19!
