Ciao Tifosi Napoletani!!! It's so great to be back for another season of Far From Vesuvius!!! We start the season with a new segment we're calling "Behind Enemy Lines", where we aim to chat with fans and/or content creators of our opposing teams before our match with them.
Matchday 1 has Napoli hosting Serie A newboys, Venezia. Thanks to a remarkable source in Frank (@SerieA_Aust on Twitter), we're able to find and meet with Marco Rinaldi. Marco brings great knowledge of Venezia and he breaks down transfers, his overview of the Napoli match this weekend and his projections for Venezia this season.
Then, its off to meet our newest member of FFV, Dr. Henry Bell. Wait, you recognize this voice? Oh...forgot to mention, its the FORMER Frank Sidekick! Yes, this legend of Napoli Twitter is no longer going by his alias and will now use his full real name and we've added another segment to the show, "The Doctor Is In" Every week that he cant be with us on a show live or recording, Il Dottore will provide us with his soothing voice and impeccable knowledge of all things Napoli. This week, he chats about Spalletti and what HE might need to make Napoli a winner!

Raff N Raff at it again!!! This is the last Rant proper before the start of the 2021/22 Serie A season, and we go into it with a BANG as the returning fellow member of Far From Vesuvius, Marco "Kubani" d'Onofrio and Napoli (and Roma) fan, our good buddy Gianni Delli Colli of The Calcio Guys joins us to discuss in depth what Napoli will likely look like on matchday 1 at the Diego Armando Maradona vs Venezia. An abysmal way to end the season saw Napoli miss out on the Champions League by ONE POINT! A goal was needed to secure third, but instead we finish 5th and in the Europa League next season. Raffa Rispo and Ralph Bizzarro in The Rant was emotional, upset and frustrated. And we even get the official word that Gennaro Gattuso is leaving the club during the show! Very emotional!
Even though Napoli's season is over on a sour note, whats not sour is the appreciation and LOVE you've all shown us, and we salute you the listeners and viewers and TIFOSI of Raff N Raff! We pay tribute and thank all our fantastic guests as we say goodbye to Season 20/21!
