In this special episode Michele interviews Henry for a change as they talk about meeting in person for the first time last Sunday! Season 21/22 - Raff N Raff Rant - Episode 26 - Napoli 3-0 Genoa: Ciao Capitano

In this edition of The Napoli Rant, we say goodbye to our hometown boy Lorenzo Insigne.  "Lorenzinho" "Lorenzo il Magnifico" "Capitano". We look back at Insigne's finest moments, we remember what he meant to us and we wish him well as he moves on to Toronto FC.  OH YEAH...THERE WAS A MATCH TOO!!!

Napoli defeat Genoa 3-0 at the Maradona, a match that many of our great friends attended.  Osimhen scored an emphatic header, Insigne got himself on the scoresheet in his final match, and Lobotka went coast to coast and scored his first Serie A goal. Oh, and we locked up 3rd, finished over Juventus for the first time in 11 seasons, and we relegated Genoa in the process.  Could our scugnizzo write a better ending? I think not

We also briefly look at the final weekend in Serie A with the scudetto on the line and relegation at stake, we look at Serie B promoted teams and promotion playoff, and a special mention of a former Napoli player making waves in the Serie B relegation play-out (HINT: this SUPER player got on his BIKE for this one)!

WE DID IT!!! Didn't we?

Napoli (out of nowhere and a bit too late) have destroyed Sassuolo at an emptier than usual Maradona and that plus Roma's 0-0 stalemate with Bologna means we have qualified for next seasons UEFA Champions League.  So why do we feel so unaccomplished? This is what we've signed up for with Spalletti, no? Wasn't this an accomplishment? A goal met? The Raff's have a great show in explaining why some of us feel good about it and some of us feel a little bit cheated. UHHH...WTF HAPPENED?!?!?

Raff N Raff go through all the motions of trying to figure out why Napoli, up 2-0 to Empoli, a team who hasn't won a single match in 16 weeks (last beating us at the Maradona) with 10 minutes left and signaled the unofficial end of Napoli's scudetto run.  What went wrong? Who is to blame? What we did RIGHT in the match? Can we really say top 4 is even secure? Where do we go from here? There is more work to do, but there is definitely a sense of defeat in the studio this week.  Tune in and TRY to enjoy!
