Napoli defeat Hellas Verona 5-2 at the Bentegodi in the first match of the 22/23 season. Goals from 5 different players (Osimhen, Kvaratshkelia, Zielinski, Lobotka & Politano) seal the victory and send a stern message to the world despite the odds. in this episode, Raff N Raff talk about the match and how we felt the defense, midfield and attack fared. Also, we hand out our first Beast of the Match!

Michele and Henry find a small window in their holidays to talk Napoli and the feeling in the city ahead of the new season. Henry has to be brief because his cena is waiting downstairs and he doesn’t want to get in trouble with the Italian in-laws.

 

They do, however, find time to salute Ciro Mertens, go deep on the Neapolitan feelings towards the team ahead of kick off and we answer listener questions.

A very special episode of The Napoli Rant this week. We had an emphatic win at Spezia for the last matchday if Serie A. With nothing at stake either way, Napoli B defeated Spezia 3-0.
